Clinker

Cement clinker is a semi-finished product used in the production of Portland cement. It consists of nodules (granules) ranging from 3 to 25 mm in diameter, typically grayish-black in color. Clinker is formed by heating raw materials like limestone, clay, and iron ore in a rotary kiln at high temperatures (around 1,400–1,500°C).
